I really wish that You could be here tonight to rock me to sleep, to provide an arm I can dig my head into (literally), legs that would wrap me up into an intimacy that should matter so much more than I’m giving the world credit for, a voice to tell me - Go to sleep now, tomorrow will be a better day..This, today, has been such an awful day. Ah this is so demoralising, so bitter.
On the greener side of the grass, a little black kitten ran out of the dark while we were coming down the stairs earlier so we fed the hungry child. I named him Shadow but he was in all actuality, the light of my night.
